Attend an
informal long-weekend with your colleagues this summer. Recreate, rest, rejuvenate, renew, network, learn, enjoy. Bring some old friends and make some new ones. Sit around the campfire beneath the starry sky. Families and friends are welcome. Group activities and events. Or come for the day. Free.
Doctors Gathering (ND, DC, MD, DDS, DVM, PhD...) July 18-21
Healers Gathering . . . (all healers welcome) . . . . . . . . August 1-4
Yoga Teachers Gathering . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . August 15-18
The retreat and region suggest activities aplenty for a long weekend; hiking, swimming, Ultimate, rockclimbing, mt climbing, berry-picking and others are all activities to be enjoyed on site; boating, golf and others are available nearby; communal meals, campfires, group exercises... Personally I like to stay out of the car, to stay put and enjoy the remarkable feng shui of the retreat and surrounding environs. A hike over Bald Mountain and down to Lake Willoughby would be fine... especially with a ride back.
I could facilitate meal preparation, outings and activities and/or help others to do the same. We're okay winging it, and I would like to see what some of you might want to do or to offer beforehand. I hope I'm conveying the right mix of casualness and sensibility here.
Tents in the meadow and woods around the meadow will be the main sleeping accommodation. There will be some indoor sleeping space both dormitory-style (we can sleep a lot of people on the second floor) and private, also there will be some semi-indoor sleeping huts. The lodge is a great indoor space for groups. As a professional courtesy, a minimal per person donation covers the cost of communal meals and other amenities for these professional weekends.
